Annette A. King

Annette A. King, 88, of Pompano Beach, FL formerly of Gorham, NH, passed away at the Preserve by Palm Aire on Thursday, February 20, 2020. She was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, the daughter of the late William and Rosa (Renault) Martineau. Together with her husband Robert, she operated King’s Store in Berlin and then The Tourist Village Motel in Gorham, which later became the Royalty Inn. She was a member of Holy Family Church, enjoyed sewing, knitting and her work at the motel.



She is survived by her sons Robert King and wife Laura of Berlin, Richard King and wife Lise of Gorham, NH and The Villages, FL, and Donald King and wife Cindy of Pompano Beach, FL; seven grandchildren Kelli, Kayla, Curtis, Ryan, Logan, Cynthia, Andrea. She was predeceased by her husband Robert King and a brother Harvey Martineau.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 10 AM at Holy Family Church, Gorham. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bryant Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Annette’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association at https://alz.org/donate.
