Ann F. Vashaw

Ann F. Vashaw, 76, of Gorham, NH passed away on Wednesday February 20, 2013 at her home. She was born in Berlin on November 12, 1936 and was a lifelong resident of the area. Ann graduated from St. Patrick High School and was a member of Holy Family Church. She had been employed by the NH Vocational Technical College and wintered for many years in Lake Wales, FL. Members of the family include her husband Robert Vashaw of Gorham; children Linda Morris and husband John of Berlin, John Vashaw and wife Jean of Berlin, Myrna Vashaw of New Boston and Tammy Vashaw of Berlin; grandchildren John Morris and wife Christine, Beth Williams and husband Mike and Quentin Vashaw; great-granddaughters Emily, Grace, Courtney and Kiana; a special friend, Pam Ilg, of New Boston; sister Betty Mercier of Gorham; stepbrother Louis Guay of Rifle, CO; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister Irene Hynes and brothers Gordon Jacques, Edward Jacques, Michael Guay and Gerard Jacques. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday February 23, 2013 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
