Anita Doherty

Mrs. Anita Doherty, 86, a resident of Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin, NH passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Berlin, NH on July 4, 1921 the daughter of Arthur and Nelida (Arsenault) Dionne and was a lifelong resident. She was a member of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Members of her family include two sons Edouard Doherty and his wife JoAnn of Berlin, NH and Alex Doherty and his wife Gail of Gorham, NH; three daughters Pauline Clark and her husband Kenneth of Berlin, NH, Julie Labrecque and her husband Norbert of Berlin, NH and Lucie Grondin and her husband Richard of Berlin, NH; eleven grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two brothers Philibert Dionne of Lewiston, ME and Omer Dionne of Santa Fe Springs, CA; three sisters Bernadette Cyr of Lewiston, ME, Rita Cote of Lewiston, ME and Doris Deraps of Lewiston, ME; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice J. Doherty; a grandson Steven Clark; a great grandson Brandon Clark; a brother Paul Dionne; and two sisters Rosanna Roy and Jeannette Rioux. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated on Friday, July 13, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish 345 Pleasant Street in Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Berlin. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home 180 Hillside Avenue in Berlin, NH on Thursday, July 12, 2007 in the afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM.
