Anita A Roy

Berlin, NH

Anita A. Roy, a longtime resident of Livermore Avenue, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Coos County Nursing Home. She was 94.

Born on June 27, 1920 in Berlin, NH, she was the daughter of Leon and Marie-Anne (Parent) Sevigny.

Anita attended St. Regis School.

She was employed by Grant Department Store and Evan's Department Store.

Anita married Henry Roy on November 10, 1941.

She was a communicant of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.

In her earlier years she and her husband enjoyed traveling and dining out. She had a cat "Sebastian" that she loved.

Besides her parents and husband, she is pre-deceased by four brothers Romeo, Robert, Normand and Gerard; and by four sisters Louisa, Florence, Blanche and Lucille.

She leaves behind her sister Lorraine Sevigny of Tilton, NH; two sister-in-laws Claire Sevigny and Gilberte Roy; nephew Victor Roy and wife Jeanne Roy of Berlin, NH and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00pm on Friday, August 29, 2014 at St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Burial will follow at St. Anne Cemetery, Berlin.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street in Berlin. (please use School St entrance)
