Alice Jordan

Alice E. Jordan, 84, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at her home in Biddeford, Maine where she had resided for the past few months.

Born on August 25, 1928 in Berlin, NH she was the daughter of Henry and Mathilda (Brodeur) Alphonse.

Alice was a lifetime resident of the area.

She retired from the James River Corp where she worked in the towel room.

Alice was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Berlin now known as Good Shepherd Parish. She enjoyed bingo.

She is pre-deceased by her companion John Lefebvre, a brother Gustave Alphonse, and a sister Doris Carberry.

She leaves a daughter Linda Simmons of Berlin

Two grandchildren: Angela Martineau of Lewiston, Maine and Jason Bagley of Jackson, NH

Four Great-Grandchildren: Justin Martineau (with whom she lived) of Biddeford, ME Amanda Snow, Seth , and Aidon Bagley

A great-great granddaughter: Lily Marie Snow

A brother Roger Alphonse of Berlin

Two sisters: Jeannette Beliveau of Litchfield, CT and Rita Jorrey of Troy Michigan

Several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11am Friday, March 15 in the parlor of Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH. There are no calling hours. Burial will follow at St. Kieran's Berlin, NH.
