Mr. Alexander Chomack, 86, of Berlin, NH passed away on Friday evening May 18, 2007 at the Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin, where he has been a resident for the past 18 months. He grew up in Berlin, served in the US Army during World War II and had resided in Greenland for over 50 years. Prior to his retirement, Alexander had been employed by General Electric in Somersworth, NH for many years. He was predeceased by his wife Norma (Tarbox) Chomack, by a daughter Louise Chomack, his parents and by three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by five sisters Louise Riff, Nina Johnson, Theresa Thomas and Claudia Nichols, all of Berlin and Eva Applegate of Manchester; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: A service for family members will be held on Monday May 21, 2007 from 3 to 4 PM in the Chapel of the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin. A graveside committal service will be held on Wednesday May 23, 2007 at 11 AM at the Greenland Cemetery in Greenland, NH. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to the Coos County Nursing Home, P.O. 416, Berlin, NH 03570 or to the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Petrograd Street, Berlin, NH 03570 in his memory.
