Albina M. Demers Lapointe, 98, of Milan, NH passed away on December 5, 2015.
She was residing in Milan with her daughter, Rita Collins. She was predeceased by her other daughter, Nancy Brown of Berlin, NH and her husband, William Lapointe. She was one of twelve children and is also survived by her half-sister, Teresa Cheche of Lewiston, ME, and eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and a few great-great-grandchildren
She was employed by Ware Knitters for ten years, Granite State Rubber Company for 20 years, and as a seamstress for Demers Cleaners for five years before retiring in her 70s.
She was a long standing member of the Joliette Snowshoe Club and the NH Association for the Blind. Her hobbies included knitting, playing cards, yearly trips to Old Orchard Beach with her family, and she was a committed bingo player at St. Anne's Hall.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 10th at 11:00am to 12:30pm at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 10th at 1:00pm at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow at St. Kierans Cemetery, Berlin.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to the NH Association for the Blind at the McGreal Sight Center, 25 Walker Street, Concord, NH 03301.
