Mr. Albert E. Drouin, 93, of Mims, Florida and formerly of Berlin, NH passed away on Sept. 12, 2005 at his daughters home in Epping, NH. He was born in Berlin, NH on January 15, 1912 the son of Fred and Rosanna (Lacroix) Drouin and was a lifelong resident. He has wintered in Florida since 1976. Mr. Drouin was a member of St. Anne Church, a charter member and past president of the Lions Club, a member of the Ryan-Scammon Post #36 American Legion, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and was a member and past president of the NH Bottlers Association. He was in business as a partner of Guay and Drouins Mens Store and was also part owner of Royal Crown Bottling Company. Mr. Drouin was a US Navy Veteran of WW2. Members of the family include two sons Robert Drouin and his wife Ann Louise of North Conway, NH and Paul Drouin and his wife Sally of Berlin, NH; a daughter Ann Marie Sellars and her husband Francis of Epping, NH; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Jeannette (Groleau) Drouin in 2001, by a granddaughter Paula Drouin and by his sister Eugenia Wilson. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning Sept. 24, 2005 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant Street, Berlin, NH. Interment will follow in St. Anne Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH on Saturday Sept. 24, 2005 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM prior to the funeral mass. In lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes may make a donation to the Hospice of St. Francis, Inc., P.O. Box 5563, Titusville, FL 32783 in his memory.
